"SHARPENED TO A RAZOR'S EDGE"
so i went to ster and christa's last night and sat down on their couch.
ster woke up and came down stairs and we chatted for a time, then he turned on the Olympics
THE INTRO TO THIS SET OF GAMES WAS INCREDIBLE!!
it was a ten minute speech that shocked, horrified, and awed all at the same time.
that had to be the most incredible prelude ever, and nothing could ever get better than that
nothing could even TOUCH that shit, so i decided to leave while the awesome meter was maxed.

Aw shit I missed it. But the opening ceremony was pretty freakin' cool.
Yeah there were fireworks and some dude on a rope running on a scroll marquee that went around the arena. He just kept running until he finally came to this giant torch mounted to the top of the arena which he lit by touching the torch to some fuse mechanism. Then there was a round of fireworks unlike any you'd ever see in the states.
